Focus on such areas as vaccination, the creation of safer safer workplaces, preventive maternal care and childcare, safer food, family planning, traffic safety, and tobacco control. Genetic Epidemiology:

Explore the interactions between environmental factors and genetic susceptibility, and how these may cause chronic diseases such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes and psychiatric disorders. Do etiologically focused studies, using an integrated approach based in epidemiology, biostatistics, genetics and molecular biology.
