* The Master´s course in Human Resource Management runs in cooperation with the University of Applied Sciences Amberg-Weiden, Deggendorf and Ratisbona; it complies with the ECTS system.
* The program is designed as a full-time study and is three semesters in duration.
* This program is designed to provide students with knowledge in contemporary Human Resource Management policies and practices.· It provides students with a foundation of knowledge and practical skills in different fields of HRM (i.e. personal strategy, personal policy, law, international and intercultural aspects, personal development) as well as an understanding of the role of the HR profession, relevant to both the strategic objectives of an organization and the wider environment in which it operates.
* Be aware: There´s no specialization in these studies (i.e. Human Resource Development)·
* The course uses current and classic theory and research to develop a critical understanding of both the theory and practice of Human Resource Management.
* It provides good grounding in many of the key concepts and models that underpin HRM.·
* Students are provided with knowledge of, and training in, relevant research methods and enables them to develop a sophisticated understanding of the modes of analysis in order to use them properly.
* The international focus of the program´s content is a key strength which will support the transfer of learning through contextualisation via case studies to a wide range of scenarios.
* The programme offers the chance to meet and exchange expertise with personnel professionals.
* The relationship between HRM and business strategy;
* The impact of HRM on company performance;
* The challenge of developing HRM strategies in an international context;
* The implications of new individual and collective employment rights
* Applicants should have a good first degree (Bachelor) or equivalent;
* Evidence of basic knowledge of economics;
* Evidence of relevant work experience (at least 20 weeks);
* All Master's degree programs will commence with a comprehensive examination (oral examination).
