Facing human problems and learning to intervene in professional environments
The main objective of the "120" master's degrees is to train students in critical and theoretical thinking as regards various human problems and to thus prepare them to work in a professional environment: once you have graduated, you will be capable of working both with individuals and groups of individuals and with organisational structures.
The training aims to provide you with the skills that any person using your services has the right to expect :
- the ability to liste
- observe
- intellectual curiosity
- methodological rigour
- taking care to control your activity and to continuously call it into question
At the end of your training, you should be able to make a detailed analysis of a situation involving human beings, whether they are considered in isolation or in groups, in a particular context (family, school, professional, etc.). This analysis must lead to an intervention that favours the best adaptation possible of the individual, or individuals, to their living environment and a better quality of life.
The training also provides bases that will allow students to pursue a career in resarch if they so wish.

Compulsory courses
If you have completed less than 3 years of studies, you will be admitted into the bachelor courses (1st cycle), meaning you will be subject to the same legal requirements as for a 1st-year registration: equivalency, French language exam, selection process.
For an admission at the master level (2nd cycle): you must hold a bachelor-level degree, earned after 3 years of study (180 credits/ECTS). However, it is not impossible that the jury, depending on your background, will require that you enter bachelor courses, in which case you will be subject to the same requirements as other students at this level.
Knowledge of French: your application must include a French language certificate indicating a minimum level of B2 (or, for a programme offered in English, an English language certificate indicating a minimum level of B1). If your application is accepted for bachelor courses, you must also pass the French exam organised at the University.
