Location of University of Chester

The University aims to offer a flexible and dynamic programme that prepares students to develop the qualities necessary to be effective within their own professional area relevant to the area of Endodontics.

The programme provides in-depth training in the latest endodontic techniques and skills. Your confidence in cleaning, shaping and filling root canals will increase - and your practice will become more profitable and enjoyable.

Emphasis is given within the programme to practical `hands-on' sessions, using simulation, in small groups thus enabling individual feedback to students.


Contents

The programme is modular, with all modules, apart from the Dissertation, having a value of 20 credits. The Dissertation is 60 credits. The modules are as follows:

Postgraduate Certificate:

* Principles of Endodontics
* Endodontic Treatment
* Referral Endodontics

Postgraduate Diploma#:

The three modules from the Postgraduate Certificate plus:

* Innovations in Endodontics
* Microscopic Endodontics
* Research

MSc:

Successful completion of all six modules plus:

* Dissertation

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

The programme is aimed at registered dental practitioners, who are actively involved in primary or secondary dental care.
