Graduates have profound theoretical knowledge in the application of exact approaches originating in the economic theories and models. To solve problems, they use mathematical-statistical, econometric and forecasting methods including information technologies whereas some of them are highly specialized. The knowledge is related to the most recent information in the field of study. Graduates' knowledge serves as a basis of original and critical thinking and enables them to participate in the research. Graduates have critical knowledge about the problems not only in their field but also in the interdisciplinary field. They understand theories, concepts and methods that correspond with a job position in the are of management of production, services, commerce, public administration, finance and insurance sectors as well as in agrarian diplomacy on the EU level. They have profound professional knowledge in economics, econometrics, forecasting and planning, management, marketing, international and EU law. They are well orientated in the problems of the European integration, agriculture, fundamentals of diplomacy and global foreign trade. This special knowledge is supplemented with fundamentals of higher statistics, information and supply-chain systems, system analysis, informatics and other social sciences like psychology, political science, sociology and philosophy. The acquired knowledge enables them to continue in the doctoral study programs. They are specifically aware about limitations to their knowledge and they have a clear idea about further study in the areas.

More information* Open for BSc graduates from programme Agricultural Economics and Management (taught in English) and BSc graduates with a solid background in economics and management, mathematics and statistics. English proficiency is mandatory. International applicants for degree studies must present an offcialy recognized BSc diploma and must pass an entrance examination.
