Why study Tropical Ecology and Management of Natural Resources?
o Tropical areas include some of the most spectacular ecosystems on earth.
o You learn how to manage the vanishing tropical ecosystems.
o You will collect field data in Africa, Asia or Latin America.
The programme provides a thorough knowledge of the biology and ecology of the tropics.
It addresses many of the current challenges in tropical ecology like threats to biodiversity and destruction of important biomes. It also focuses on the links between poverty and conservation and management of natural resources.
