This program includes Foundation Part (the classic BSL MBA/EMBA) and a Specialization Part (The BSL/University of St.Gallen Diploma) including a leading-edge executive training by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development. Graduates earn two degrees at the end of their studies: an MBA/EMBA
MBA in Sustainable Business The MBA in Sustainable Business is a 1.5 year program. After 6-months in the classic MBA, students join the Diploma Program in Sustainable Business of BSL and the University of St. Gallen with a 6-month internship option.
EMBA in Sustainable Business The EMBA in Sustainable Business is a 2 year part-time program. The first year follows the classic foundation EMBA program, the second year joins the Diploma Program in Sustainable Business of BSL and the University of St. Gallen.
Graduates with an MBA/EMBA in Sustainable Business are equipped to join a multinational, a consulting firm or a small-sized business and will contribute with relevant general management, specialized sustainability knowledge and excellent soft skills to the future success of any project they get involved in.

Candidates applying to the BSL MBA/EMBA in Sustainable Business program must have:
* EITHER
* A Bachelor degree from a recognized university or institution. Candidates with a Bachelor degree in a non-business field may be required to complete BSL's prerequisite preparation courses
* OR
* Significant work experience (for professionals over 30 years of age). Working professionals with careers focused exclusively on one area of business are eligible to apply but may be required to complete BSL’s prerequisite courses
* At least 3 years (MBA) or 5 years (EMBA) of professional work experience, including management experience (defined as having managed people or a project)
* An up-to-date CV.
* Fluency in English at a TOEFL level of 90 or equivalent.
* Two reference letters from current or previous employers.
* A convincing motivation letter/essay
* The successful completion of a personal interview with our admissions officer (in person or by phone).

Accreditation
BSL has successfully obtained independent recognition for the quality of its programs through its accreditation and certification. BSL was the first business school in Europe to be accredited by the ACBSP (Accreditation Council of Business Schools & Programs In 2004 the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) awarded BSL with the ISO 9001 certification, recognized by businesses worldwide as a highly respected guarantee for quality of education.
The E/MBA is a postgraduate degree in business and is fully accredited as a one-year postmaster’s degree in the US and is equivalent to a one-year European postmaster’s degree (Master in Advanced Studies).
