The M.A.(Television and Radio Production) aims to provide students who already have a background in media production at undergraduate level with an opportunity to specialise in the area of non fiction production and theory at a postgraduate level. The programme focuses on developing skills in crafted radio and television programming, and in core aspects of media analysis and research. The programme trains graduates for work in the television and radio production sectors, both within Ireland and abroad. The M.A. (Television and Radio Production) combines applied production work and theoretical engagement. In an innovative move, the programme will allow candidates to present their final dissertation in the conventional written form, as a radio or television documentary, or as some combination of these forms of presentation.
