PAC provides a service for the central processing of applications for admission to Postgraduate level courses in Ireland. The course is creativity-driven, with emphasis on musical aspects of computer programming and audio technology. It offers full use of computer resources at the Music Technology Labs at NUI Maynooth; access to studio space, with the possibility of working towards recording and production projects; opportunities to have compositions performed; individual tutorial time with a designated advisor; expert advice on musical and technical issues from composers and researchers at the cutting edge of their fields. Access to language courses is also available.

IELTS

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Requirements

Honours degree normally with a minimum of Grade 2.1. Students with a primary degree other than Music would normally have to demonstrate some degree of musical training and affinity. Interview

Applicants must have an IELTS score of 6, if not they may take our International
Foundation Course. Minimum English language requirement for the IFC is IELTS 4.5 or equivalent.
