For many organisations information is the resource and knowledge the unique asset that brings clients. They need to manage risk and opportunities in an ever changing environment. Consequently, they need managers with the strategic skills to make it happen.

These managers have to be able to work with and between, business and IT specialists. They must shape information and knowledge strategies and provide the leadership to make and carry out information policies.

SAP is a suite of enterprise resource planning and customer relationship management solutions and is the main technology we use.

You examine technology and its potential from the perspective of those managing technical staff, rather than the technical staff themselves. You focus on managing information, information systems and knowledge workers.

* strategy
* culture

This MBA also develops high level managerial and strategic skills for executives, managers and consultants. These include o communication and analytical skills o problem solving o creative thinking o change management.



This course exposes you to the latest thinking on organisational structures, the importance of information processing and the role of change in the modern business.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Requirements

You need

* a good honours degree (2.1 or above) in a relevant discipline
* three years of relevant work experience, preferably in a management position

You also need

* a good background knowledge of issues that arise in managing organisations and the desire to take that knowledge and understanding further
* significant managerial experience to ensure that concepts and techniques can be related to practical experience
