The course provides graduates from varied background disciplines with a sound understanding of sport management. It encompasses the study of key management disciplines: economics, financial management, marketing, human resource management and research methods.
It is possible to achieve a named optional `International Award´. In order to meet the criteria, students must complete their professional practice in an international setting and have an international focus to their Independent Study.
A significant proportion of the programme is vocationally focused and student driven:
* The Professional Placement enables the student to demonstrate their professional sports management competencies through continuing professional development activities
* The Advanced Independent Study provides opportunities for students to negotiate a suitable project that meets the intended learning outcomes of the module in their area of
sports management interest

IELTS
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
