Organisational psychology applies specialist psychological knowledge and skills to the workplace, with emphasis on enhancing organisational effectiveness and employee wellbeing.

This course is ideal if you are a recent psychology graduate interested in applying your existing knowledge to the work environment. It is also beneficial if you come from a non-psychological background and want to enhance your understanding of work psychology, and develop your quantitative and qualitative research methods, knowledge and skills.

The course has been designed to develop your knowledge of the core areas of organisational psychology. It also focuses on contemporary issues for modern organisations, such as improving innovation and creativity.

We aim to provide you with associated applied psychological research skills which are central to the effective evaluation of current and ongoing workplace practices.
During the course we work with you to ensure you are able to make links between the knowledge you develop and your area of employment or career aspirations.

This course is is suitable for people interested in organisational psychology and its application. It also helps improve your own workplace practice and career prospects.

Modules * fundamentals in statistics and design or advanced statistics and design (module choice depends on previous research methods experience)
* organisational behaviour and human resource management
* occupational health psychology
* innovation and creativity
* human factors and ergonomics
* organisation development and strategic change
* dissertation (research project)

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

* a good honours degree in a related discipline

* two years work experience to the satisfaction of our admissions tutor

If English is not your first language you need an IELTS score of 7.0 or above.
