The University of New York in Prague offers a number of professional life long education graduate programs for those students wishing to develop their careers and to prepare for senior positions. The MBA courses run over the weekends, making them ideal for working professionals who want to enhance their skill levels and careers, but who don't want to interrupt their work schedules. If committing to a regular time is a problem, then our on-line flexible learning option is available. Students study from home, but have the option to attend on campus instruction, which combines the best of both worlds.
This 19-month life long education program of weekend study (2 weekends per month) leads to a Master's of Business Administration (MBA) double degree from the University of New York in Prague, and from the Institut Universitaire Kurt Bösch. You will take a core set of 9 courses providing you with a solid foundation in international business and then 4 additional courses in Human Resource Management.
Prior to the start of the MBA program, UNYP provides, free of charge, a pre-MBA workshop in the principles of finance, accounting, marketing and management to ensure that you begin your studies well-prepared and on an equitable level with your fellow classmates.

The HR concentration route prepares students to evaluate and critically reflect on the strategic importance of HR Management to the organisation. This concentration covers all the major aspects of finding, training, evaluating and retaining key staff. Considering the high cost of loosing skilled people, and the negative impact on companies with high labour turnover, HR Management has become essential for companies striving to maintain their knowledge base. The focus subjects build on the core subjects to provide comprehensive knowledge of Human Resource Management.
Apart from the core subjects, students complete courses in the following focus areas

* Industrial Relations and Legal Aspects in HR
* Cross-cultural Management
Consultancy Project
After completing the course, students undertake the role of an internal or external consultant and investigate a business problem with the aim of arriving at a fesiable solution to the problem originally identified.

Accreditation
UNYP is officially recognized by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports as a private higher education institution. Currently, four bachelor's degree programs are accredited by the Ministry of Education and lead to the award of a bakalár (bachelor's) degree from UNYP: Business Administration, Communication & Mass Media, European Business Administration, and International Economic Relations.
