Defined by Jean-Marie Lehn as "the chemistry beyond the molecule", Supramolecular chemistry is one of the fastest research areas of experimental chemistry. The new concepts and language of supramolecular chemistry contribute to the better understanding of chemistry as a science.
Supramolecular chemistry is a highly interdisciplinary field, with a strong impact on the development of chemistry, which also attracts biochemists, biologists, environmental scientists, physicists, engineers, theoreticians.
This master program offers courses on hot topics in supramolecular chemistry, as well as on modern experimental techniques. The students will gain abilities not only in chemical synthesis and in investigating the chemical reactivity, but also in applying various spectroscopic and electrochemical techniques for solving structural problems at molecular and supramolecular level.
