Participants in an MBA study program have decided on such a study program for various reasons: In many cases they are striving for in improvement of the professional state and broadening the career horizon. Of course it's also about expanding existing knowledge and to gain new knowledge. The conclusion of an MBA study program oftentimes also results in a salary improvement. And although even an MBA does not provide any guarantees, the career and salary history oftentimes also improve in multiples.

The study program qualifies to demanding occupations in management and due to its flexible character also facilitates a change between individual companies and fields. Unlike other masters programs, which are oftentimes highly theory oriented, an MBA is highly reality-oriented. It's mainly about also being able to apply the acquired knowledge to daily life and the job. Exactly this perspective makes an alumnus of an MBA studyprogram so attractive to employers.

It's important that the right MBA study program is selected quite individually. If in your professional life you have already specialized yourself in a specific direction, it typically makes more sense to align your MBA study program in a more general direction and to acquire abilities and skills such as general management, soft skills and self competence. When selecting an MBA one should therefore first put plenty of thought into what is particularly important to one's personal continuing education. After all, the possibilities of an MBA are plenty. So ask yourself which of your strengths you would like to expand on and where your interests and abilities lie.

For example, how would you respond to the following questions?

Do I have the formal requirements for an MBA? (first college degree and at least two years of work experience)

Do I envision my future to be in an international field and do I enjoy working with personalities from other countries and cultures?

Which professional goals am I pursuing?

Are my management and soft skills required for this purpose up to date?

Do I enjoy working in small groups with plenty of interaction?

If you answered yes to most of these questions, then the MBA program of the Munich Business School is just right for you to advance professionally, broaden your horizon and to also increase not only your personal but also your professional market value.

MBAs are predicted to have increasingly good chances in the job market because the title is internationally recognized. This international recognition of the degree is probably the biggest advantage. Especially in today's growing globalization companies require professionally versed and worldwide deployable staff. Inter-cultural compe- tence, immersion of language skills paired with knowledge of general management account for a large part of the MBA curricula.
