The objective of this program is to train consultants, both internal and external, to solve complex business problems and assist companies in improving corporate performance.

Participants will develop the know-how, knowledge and skills to conduct a rapid and effective assessment of a given situation, address the problem in question and propose appropriate solutions within the constraints of the company.

They will develop competences in the practical application of theory, in diagnostics and the formulation of creative solutions and will acquire a wide range of tools, concepts and methodologies to conduct successful consulting assignments internationally.

Management Consulting has been growing in popularity over recent years. The GGSB MSc in Management Consulting aims to provide you with first-hand knowledge of the tools and techniques used by successful consultants in the competitive management consulting industry. You will graduate with a thorough understanding of the global consulting industry; how it functions, the dominant players, key success factors and the management issues that drive it.

This program is delivered on a full-time basis allowing both experienced professionals and more recent graduates to participate.

Graduates from this program will be qualified for job opportunities in one the following types of consulting firms:

  • Traditional Consulting
  • Boutique Consulting
  • Internal Consulting, Sales Consulting

Based on the skills acquired in the program, you will be able to deeply and positively influence decision makers in the organizations with whom you work. You will bring with you hands-on experience in particular areas of business expertise, including:

Integrated Case Studies The 2 case studies offered throughout the program will provide the students with the holistic viewpoint and the opportunity to pull together all the aspects of the program.
Students will have to analyze a real management problem and to use their skills and knowledge to solve the problem in small groups and in a limited time. Assessment for these case studies will be based on a group assignment with a group presentation.

Consulting Assignment Report

Each student will be required to complete a consulting assignment of their own choice under the guidance of a tutor/consultant appointed by GGSB. The assignment offers students an opportunity to specialize in a management area of their choice related to their chosen career path. The assignment may be undertaken in France or abroad. The end result is a professional document composed of a Client Proposal and a comprehensive Consulting Assignment Report.

Foreign Languages

Foreign language skills are essential in business today and the program is taught in English but provides the possibility to learn a foreign language at the same time. No prior knowledge of French is required to attend the program. Non-French speakers may study French, native and fluent French speakers will have the possibility to choose from Spanish or Chinese. The language component is not compulsory.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Requirements

Candidates should be creative, driven self-starters with execellent academic results.
Candidates with work experience are preferred. People with specialized degrees and/or high-profile internships would also be considered.

Entry requirements

  • Bachelor´s Degree in an area related to business and management or technology with excellent academic results (Applicants who do not have a Bachelor´s degree may be considered if their management/consulting work experience is deemed sufficient and appropriate)
  • Fluent English (proof of the level of English will be required)

  • High level of maturity and intellectual curiosity
  • Candidates with work experience are preferred.

  • TOEFL (IBT 94 / computer based 240 / paper based : 587), Cambridge Proficiency Exam (A,B,C), IELTS score report (6,5 with a minimum of 6.0 in all areas : Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) or Pearson Test of English (PTE) with a minimum of 63. TOEIC is not longer accepted.
