Location of De Montfort University

Graduates can apply their creative and analytical skills to a wide variety of business and social contexts, ranging from small local businesses to multinational corporations and social enterprise. You will be ideally placed to be responsive to growth demands in the global cultural and creative industries. The course examines international and global design and business issues, and develops specialist design management knowledge and skills.

Semester One (September to January)

Students complete three core modules and choose one elective module

Students complete three core modules and choose one elective module

Semester Three (June to September)

Students carry out their own research projects under supervision. Depending on the nature of the project, students have two options to complete the Research Project module:

Dissertation

Design or Brand Strategy and Report.

Modules in Semesters One and Two are taught through VLE, seminars, lectures, team working and design workshops. Students undertake independent research, analysis and dissertations, supported by individual tutorials.

IELTS

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.

Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

Requirements

You should have a good honours degree in a related area such as design, creative or business.

Other applicants with suitable skills and experience may also be considered.

You should include in your application evidence of interest and experience in design.

An IELTS of 6.0 or equivalent is required.
