The one year full-time Masters/LL.M in Management and Law provides a broad introduction to the key principles and techniques of management and law, so that they can be applied in a business environment.

It is designed specifically for new or recent graduates who have not previously studied management and business. Students are expected to be interested in law, but it is not a requirement that students have previously studied law, although many may have done so.

The programme develops understanding of all business functions, and of the complex organisational issues – particularly those with a legal aspect – that managers often encounter. It provides ideal preparation for a wide range of business and management careers, including managerial careers in the legal profession.

Via the programme’s core modules you will acquire a thorough grasp of areas such as law, accounting, marketing and organisational issues. Through project work and practical activities within the programme, you'll develop strong practical skills – which are vital for competing effectively in a competitive graduate job market.

Students on Lancaster's three MSc Management programmes come from a wide range of first degree subjects, and from many different countries. This gives richness and breadth of perspectives to the class and provides countless opportunities for cross-cultural comparison.
