Climatology-hydrology M.a. Studies – (M.Sc.)

The "Climatology-Hydrology" M.A. Studies primarily aims at training highly-qualified specialists in two different, yet inter-dependent scientific domains, capable to effectively contribute to the continuous development of scientific knowledge and to the optimal management of climatic and hydrological resources and risks both in Romania and the E.U. or worldwide. Its curriculum is complex, well-balanced and modern, fully meeting the training requirements in the Climatology and Hydrology fields, unanimously acknowledged to train well-defined specialists, called climatologists, weather-forecasters, hydrologists etc., with many distinct sub-domains established by the WMO, UNESCO or by various national, specialized and certified, bodies. The graduates of this "Climatology-Hydrology" M.A. Studies program acquire actual competencies to apply the respective knowledge in various operational and research activities in multiple sudomains such as: microclimatology, medical climatology, applied climatology, air-pollution, satellite meteorology, regional climatology, hydrological regionings, applied hydrology, hydrological management, water-pollution etc. Furthermore, these newly-acquired competencies correspond to specific qualifications included in the Job Lists both in Romania and the E.U.
