Geomorphology and Cartography with Cadastre Issues – (M.Sc.)

The main objectives of the M.Sc. programme in Geomorphology and Cartography with Cadastre Issues are: the study of the slope, floodplain and morphohydrographic system features through the subsequent processes, landforms and functions; the theoretical and methodological approach of the natural and anthropogenical phenomena which generates disequilibrum states in the framework of the Global changes; the study of the specific GIS techniques for the terrestrial dynamics analysis, and the study of the latest laboratory and terrain research techniques; the study of the soil degradation factors and effects and the study of the specific ammelioration solutions; the study of the agricultural land evaluation methodologies; the study of the GIS project and development design; the study of the cadastral maps, documentation and legislation; the integration of the cadastral issues in property evaluation and administration problematics; the study of different geospatial data systems of INSPIRE type (the Spatial Data Infrastructure) and the study of the locational and thematic data classification and standardization procedures.

The postgraduates of this M.Sc. programme will be able to cover different positions: scientific researcher in geomorphology, pedology, cartography, cadastre; cartographer; cadastre expert; pedologist; land evaluation expert.
