In a multi-facetted economy, one-size-fits-all solutions are irrelevant. In order to overcome the most recent business challenges, our curriculum solves the global/local dilemma in an unparalleled way. Because we think innovation consists in questioning taken-for-granted assumptions, our learning environment is based on a variety of perspectives. Our ambition is to train business leaders able to decipher the dynamics of modern corporations, to develop novel management perspectives, and to make strategically informed decisions. Join us to experience the European Executive MBA.
The business success and career progression of our alumni are a number 1 priority to ESCP Europe.
MBA participants and ESCP Europe Alumni connect with each other all over the world to form business partnerships and exchange viewpoints on changing business practices and environments.
The European Executive MBA offers you a broad curriculum taught by professors who are aware of the needs of high-potential managers.
The wide range of subjects and the programme´s flexibility will allow you to align your learning with your daily professional reality and your career objectives.
The curriculum is made-up of the following elements:
Core Courses
Core courses are the foundation of the MBA curriculum. Participants are introduced to the major management disciplines and exposed to state-of-the-art theory, concepts and real-life business practices. These courses are taken within each study track and involve lectures, case studies as well as individual and group work.
All core courses are mandatory and are assessed through formal reports, presentations or an exam in the case of Corporate Finance.
Choose your MBA Core Course Location
ESCP Europe offers 6 different 18-month core course locations or "home bases" to suit our EMBA participant´s professional and personal schedules.
London is one of the world's most dynamic financial, commercial and cultural cities, the ESCP Europe London campus is easily accessible from all major international and local travel routes, and only a few minutes away from Central London. Participants following the EEMBA London format benefit from a personalised approach and join a class of fewer than 20 students. They enjoy wider networking opportunities with the 120 participants from our other tracks when attending the international seminars and elective courses.
The Core Modules for the London location last 3 days each and take place in London on a monthly basis throughout Year 1. In addition to core course modules, all locations require:
Elective courses
Electives are 12-hour courses designed to complement core courses. Each MBA participant chooses 12 electives from a portfolio of 34 enabling them to personalise their curriculum and focus on either a specific management skill or a variety of skills to reinforce and enhance their knowledge of different management areas.
The wide range of subjects and the programme´s flexibility will allow you to align your learning with your daily professional reality and your career objectives. The elective courses portfolio is classified into three major categories:
International Consulting Project
The International Consulting Project (ICP) is an integral part of the programme's pedagogical dynamic. The ICP is designed to provide participants with a collaborative, multi-disciplinary and often intercultural work experience on a real-life strategic challenge and to put into practice the concepts and theory acquired during the MBA.
In groups, participants are expected to perform an in-depth analysis of a situation or an issue faced by a company and to make recommendations for actions that can realistically be implemented by the firm.
This 8 to 12-month team project will allow participants to use and to consolidate their understanding of the concepts and tools presented during the programme:
The ICP results in a series of recommendations that the company can implement to meet the strategic challenge at hand. The company sponsor receives a comprehensive written report and the conclusions of the project are presented to an academic jury.
Thematic seminars
The programme includes five week-long seminars which are each designed to explore a specific theme related to the business environment in all its dimensions. These seminars also provide participants with great opportunities to dialogue with their MBA peers and share knowledge and experience.
The 5 seminars provide our participants with the opportunity to:

ESCP Europe
State-recognized school
There are over 200 schools offering business and management degrees in France; of these, only about half are recognized by the State. ESCP Europe is one of these.
EQUIS
The European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD) has established high standards for the quality assessment of business schools: the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS). Of the several hundred business schools in Europe, 59 have achieved EQUIS accreditation; ESCP Europe obtained its first accreditation in 1998, and was reaccredited in 2003 and in 2009.
AACSB
is the leading American accrediting body of business schools. For many years non-American business schools have enjoyed "membership" in the AACSB but only a very few have been accredited by AACSB. AACSB accreditation means that the business school meets the same very high quality standards demanded of top American business schools. ESCP Europe’s degree programmes were accredited in 2003.
3 National Memberships
Most European countries have a tightly-knit association of top business schools in the country.
In France, it is the "Conférence des Grandes Ecoles" (CGE) which includes 32 management schools.
In the UK, ESCP Europe is a member of the Association of Business Schools (ABS), grouping 102 leading business schools.
In Germany, ESCP Europe is one of the founding members of the VHP, (Verband der privaten Hochschulen), the German federation of private universities, which was created in 2004 and represents the common interests of 30 private universities.
