According to your educational and professional background, we approach the modern computer-aided methods focused on conception and production. The programme provides in-depth knowledge and understanding of selection and design of the advanced materials, assembly design of the advanced mechanical systems, reliability computational analysis and application of artificial intelligence in mechanical engineering, virtual instrumentation and data acquisition systems.
The Master Programme is for BSc graduates directed on design tasks and for every engineer in all fields of mechanical activity. Software approached: CATIA, LabVIEW, Matlab- Simulink, ABACUS, ANSYS, COSMOS, HP Sim. This programme comprises of three semesters of lectures, exercises, seminars, and laboratory courses, a two months-long laboratory internship, and a four months-long period to prepare a master dissertation thesis (in the 4th semester).

1st semester:
Parametric and feature-based part design, CATIA, 10 ECTS;
LabVIEW and data acquisition, 10 ECTS;
Advanced materials engineering, 10 ECTS;
Optional: Advanced technical English language, Mathematical basics of data mining in engineering
2nd semester
Assembly design of the advanced mechanical systems, CATIA, 10 ECTS;
Experimental and numerical stress analysis, ABACUS, COSMOS, 10 ECTS;
Simulation of the mechano- electrical systems, Matlab- Simulink, HP Sim, 10 ECTS;
Optional: Materials management
3rd semesterMechanical systems reliability, ANSYS, 10 ECTS;
Nanomaterials and nanotechnologies, 10 ECTS;
Fundamental data structures and algorithms for nanomaterials, 10 ECTS;
Optional: Project management;
4th semester
Laboratory internship, 15 ECTS;
Preparing master thesis, 15 ECTS

Requirements
You have to be a holder of a recognised first degree (Bachelor of Science or Engineering or equivalent, related to your envisaged study programme), awarded by an internationally recognised university-level institution
Required documents for enrollment (for EU nationals):- Copies of all first degree academic certificates,- A copy of all transcripts or other academic records that give proof of your studies including credits and grades achieved in each single subject, - Certificate of competence in English agreed by "Politechnica" University of Timisoara, CAE-Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English, IELTS - International English Language Testing System, TOEFL-Test of English as a Foreign Language), certificate that proofs a sufficient level of English knowledge, or test of competence in English in 18.07.2010.
