The Enterprise Doctorate (EntD) is run jointly by the school of the subject discipline and the Manchester Science Enterprise Centre. The EntD is a doctorate in business creation and knowledge transfer modelled on the Engineering Doctorate. The core of the EntD is a research project which embraces research work and commercialisation extending from the concept to commercial exploitation.

Requirements
Academic Requirement - A minimum upper second class honours degree, or the overseas equivalent, in a related discipline.
Langauage Requirement - Students whose first language is not English are required to have a minimum of 6.5 IELTS or 600 TOEFL.
