This is a dual award programme and involves study at both Newcastle University and the University of Groningen. You will receive an MA in Advanced International Business Management from Newcastle University and an MSc in International Business and Management from the University of Groningen.
Semester one is undertaken at Newcastle University Business School where you study the following modules (60 credits): the international business environment; foundations of business strategy; strategic perspectives of human resource management in the global context; managing across cultures; marketing research; and introduction to financial theory and corporate policy.
Semester two is undertaken at the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen where you study the following modules (70 credits): advanced international economics and business; advanced international business; advanced international management; advanced international financial management; research methodology for international business and management.
The dissertation (50 credits) involves undertaking a research project on a topic that you have studied during the programme. Supervision for this is managed jointly and you can elect to be based at either Groningen or Newcastle.

Register Now!An upper-second-class Honours degree (2.1), or equivalent, in a relevant discipline. Since this programme is taught in English, no knowledge of the Dutch language is required. However applicants whose first language is not English require IELTS 6.5, or equivalent, with a minimum of 6.5 in writing and no less than 6.0 in any other element. Please note that students from the University of Groningen are exempt from the IELTS requirements.
