It is anMA course organized by the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures, as a follow-up to the 3-year undergraduate program. It is offered to students with advanced knowledge of two of the six participating languages - English, French, german, Spanish, Italian and Russian. This MA course is organized against the backdrop of the Center for the Translation and Interpretation of the Contemporary Text The MA course is an initiative of the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Literatures. It is an answer to the ever larger need for professional translators and terminologists ready to operate on the labour market, which is, in fact, the engine driving ssuch a need. Now is the moment to organize such a course when Romania joined the EU, so there are more and more numerous contacts with the European world. It has been felt necessary to focus on training good experts, with outstanding knowledge of both Romanian and two foreign languages, able to approach a specialized text and to translate it into coherent and correct Romanian.
