The programme consists of two compulsory modules: theory and skills training in implant dentistry (20 credits); and clinical skills training and practice in implant dentistry (40 credits). The latter module comprises patient assessment, surgical placement of implants, and restoration of implants.
The modules are designed to be delivered as one continuous programme. The theory and skills module is delivered through lectures, seminars and skills training exercises on artificial models and animal cadaver material. Intellectual skills are developed through case study analysis, problem-based learning, open discussion and self evaluation. Practical clinical skills in module 2 are developed by one-to-one clinical coaching and closely supervised clinical work for patients provided by the training.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
