This four-year MChem programme is for you if you want to gain a knowledge of law, especially in relation to patents and intellectual property rights, together with a professional training in chemistry. In addition to traditional chemistry topics, you take course units such as contract and company law, intellectual property law and European law in the School of Law.

Requirements

Grades ABB including Chemistry plus one other science or maths subject.

Grades ABB including Chemistry and one other science or maths subject.

34 points overall with at least 17 at Higher Level including Chemistry plus at least one other science subject from Maths, Physics or Biology at Higher Level. If English is not offered as one of the Diploma subjects (SL or HL) then a score of 6.5 at IELTS (or an equivalent approved qualification) must be offered.

Minimum grade C in GCSE English Language. IELTS - minimum 6.5. TOEFL - minimum 233 (computer-based) or 577 (paper-based) or 90 (internet-based).
