This is a four year undergraduate programme known as an `integrated Masters'. It is particularly suitable for students that wish to pursue a career in research. We allow students to switch to the 4 year course from any other geoscience course within the first two years of study.

You can follow a geology, environmental and resource geology or geochemistry pathway through the earlier years of the course
You undertake a research project in the fourth year which gives you the opportunity interacting with staff at the forefront of new developments in geoscience
You undertake a small number of specialist courses, shared with postgraduate students

Grades BBB which should include at least one science subject. Two AS-levels are accepted in place of one A-level. General Studies is welcomed but not normally included as part of the standard offer.
A minimum of 32 points with at least 16 at higher level and including two sciences at higher level.
