Planetary Science is an interdisciplinary subject that brings together geologists, astronomers, physicists, chemists and biologists to study the origin and evolution of the solar system.
Highlights include:
Unique course combining geology with the study of the origin and evolution of the solar system
Course overall approximately two thirds geology, one third planetary science
Available in three or four year format, the latter giving you the opportunity of undertaking a research project in planetary science
Specialist modules available include comparative planetology, extra-terrestrial materials, isotope geochemistry and origin of the solar system

Grades BBB with at least 1 science. Maths or Physics at least to AS level. Two AS-levels are accepted in place of one A-level. General Studies is welcomed but not normally included as part of the standard offer.
A minimum of 32 points with at least 16 at higer level and including htwo sciences at higher level.
