This programme aims to produce engineers who are highly skilled in the techniques of manufacturing management and its related technologies. This will provide the basis for effective careers as managers who can meet the challenges of the rapidly changing global manufacturing industry.

Modern manufacturing industry is one that requires the application of technological developments and efficient management of resources. Successful industrial performance requires engineers capable of managing the complete integration of technological developments and resources into the whole manufacturing system. The Programme enhances the ability of experienced engineers, and recently graduated engineers, to carry out this integration by providing both the manufacturing management tools and an in-depth appreciation and experience of the technological knowledge necessary.

Modules: 50% of the credit total. Project work: 50% by written report, presentation and exhibition.

Upper second class honours degree in any engineering discipline, or HND with appropriate industrial experience. Applicants with a lower second class honours degree will be considered on a case by case basis.
