The recognition that we are now in a knowledge economy and society, and that those organisations that will survive and prosper must engender a knowledge culture, has led to an explosion of interest in IKM and of careers requiring expertise in IKM. This programme is designed to provide a sound grounding in the principles and practice of IKM. It will give students a comprehensive set of skills for employment in the public, private and voluntary sectors in the field of IKM, and also in the broader areas of information science and business analysis.
