This set of programmes have UK Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) research training recognition. The programmes are designed to help you understand the concepts, methods, tools and applications of modern economic analysis, combining rigorous coverage of economic principles (macroeconomics and microeconomics) with quantitative skills, research training and specialisation in various fields of finance.

Choice of Semester 2 modules may be restricted by the options selected in Semester 1. The Department reserves the right to vary the list of optional modules. Option lists are published in September and January each year.
Summer Period
Students satisfy the research requirement of the MSc by dissertation.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testGood UK honours or joint honours degree in Economics. Where the UK honours degree system is not used, high grades and a substantial economics and quantitative content are required.

* IELTS band 6.5 with not less than 6.0 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking
