This programme comprises two elements and has two entry points depending on applicants´ previous qualifications:

(1 year full-time)
The first element of the programme is a full-time Post-Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). This element of the Programme is for secondary school Physical Education teachers who have achieved Qualified Teacher Status, either at Loughborough University or another university, and provides them with the opportunity to gain a relevant masters degree during their early teaching career.

Loughborough graduates are very much in demand and many have gone on to rewarding careers at the highest levels of leadership in the teaching profession, such as senior management posts in schools, lecturers in further and higher education, and teacher educators.
