The Society demands professionals from both companies in the telecommunications sector (large telecommunications equipment manufacturers or telecommunications companies) and from other companies, institutions or organizations that need skilled personnel to design and maintain their own telecommunications systems.

Responding to this demand, the Master in Telecommunication Engineering Professional enables you to practice as a Telecommunications Engineer , with all the powers recognized by the law. The title allows you to complete the technical training of graduates in the field of Telecommunications Engineering and related fields, while they were oriented towards the technological management of telecommunications projects.

On the other hand , enable, capitalize the previous experience of the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid in the delivery of the title of Telecommunication Engineering ( Curriculum published in the Official Gazette of 11 March 1996 ), successful experience for both the high degree of achieving the initial goals for this course , which consists of the broad and deep scientific and technical training for graduates.

The overall objective of the Master in Telecommunication Engineering is to train professionals who are able to adequately perform the profession of Telecommunication Engineering . The Master is aimed at providing advanced training and integration into the labor market .

To do this , it is intended that students acquire the following competencies:

* Ability to design, calculate and design products, processes and facilities in all areas of telecommunications engineering .
* Capacity for management of works and installations of telecommunications systems, complying with current legislation , ensuring quality of service.
* Ability to lead , plan and oversee multidisciplinary teams.
* Ability to mathematical modeling, calculation and simulation technology centers and engineering company, particularly in research , development and innovation in all areas related to the Telecommunication Engineering and related multi-disciplinary fields .
* Capacity for the development , strategic planning , direction, coordination and technical and financial management of projects in all areas of Telecommunications Engineering following quality and environmental criteria .
* Capacity for the overall direction, technical direction and project management research, development and innovation in business and technology centers.
* Capacity for implementation, operation and management of manufacturing processes for electronic and telecommunications equipment , with a guarantee of safety for people and goods, the final quality of the products and their approval.
* Ability to implement the acquired knowledge and solve problems in new or unfamiliar environments within broader contexts and multidisciplinary , being able to integrate knowledge .
* Ability to understand the ethical responsibility and professional ethics of the activity of the profession as a Telecommunications Engineer .
* Ability to apply principles of economics and human resource management and projects, as well as legislation , regulation and standardization of telecommunications.
* Ability to learn to communicate ( orally and written ) conclusions , and the knowledge and rationale underpinning these, a public - skilled and unskilled in a clear and unambiguous.
* Acquiring skills for lifelong learning , self-directed and autonomous.
* Knowledge, understanding and capacity to implement the necessary legislation in the exercise of the profession as a Telecommunications Engineer .

Finally , a student completes Masters degree in Telecommunications Engineering should be able to approach any technical problems of telecommunications vigorously , using all the knowledge, skills and attitudes needed in this area of study, but still friendly environment, fundamental rights, and mindful that the application of their knowledge in practice can have consequences that affect society ( ethical ).

The Master consists of three modules. These modules are:

* Telecommunications Technologies. This module consists of 54 compulsory credits and 12 ECTS credits ECTS . Includes content related to telecommunication technologies required for access to the profession of Telecommunications Engineering , as well as advanced content that allow students to specialize in specific technologies in the optional subjects.
* Technology Management Telecommunications Project. This module consists of 12 credits and includes skills training content related to management , integration and management in the field of Telecommunication Engineering.
* Final Master Work. This module consists of 12 credits and includes the completion of a job that allows students to complete a comprehensive manner the formation of the previous modules.

Requirements

The student selection will be based on the curriculum vitae of applicants. Specifically it will consider:

* The record of applicants.
* The experience of the candidates in the field of Telecommunication Engineering.
* The existence of letters of support and academic or professional recommendations for the admission of the candidate in the Masters.

If there is more demand for places that offer, they may conduct personal interviews with candidates
