The postgraduate programme in International Business Arbitration provides all its students, whether experienced legal professionals or otherwise, with a strong grounding in both the theoretical and practical aspects of International Arbitration within a commercial context.

Students will be taught on all major institutional and ad hoc arbitration rules thus preparing them thoroughly for a practice specializing in International Arbitration by participation of some of the most esteemed academics and practitioners in the field.

This intellectually challenging programme will focus on all the different dimensions of International Arbitration through a comparative study. It will enable students to critically consider present arbitration practices and make novel propositions for change.

Requirements

  • University degree (master or bachelor).
  • A good command of English is required. This requirement can be met non-Anglophones providing either proof of graduation from a ?programme taught in English or a copy of a `Test of English as a Foreign Language´ (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 550 (paper test).
  • All students from the People´s Republic of China must obtain a certificate of academic screening from the Academic Evaluation Centre (APS) of the German Embassy in Beijing before enrolling in any institution of higher education, language course or other preparatory course in Belgium.
