This course offers you the opportunity to develop your practice and research in the acquisition and post-production of sound achieving results congruent with current industrial standards, yet capable of being developed and expanded to the needs of new professional models as they arise. The Media School will offer you a vibrant production environment, within which MA Sound Production for Film and TV students are able to integrate their own specialist skills across a diverse range of production practices. The opportunity to work with Directors, Screenwriters, Producers, Editors, Cinematographers and other media production students enhance these collaborative in line with current industry practice.

A UK bachelors degree or overseas equivalent in a relevant subject, usually allied to either music, sound or media production Alternatively applicants may demonstrate learning through experience, via portfolios or records of achievement, and/or by tasks set at interview, and confirmed by employer reference/s A combination of academic and experiential qualifications may be considered on their individual merits. Applicants will normally be expected to attend an interview, at which time you may be required to demonstrate your perception of music/sound/image production, and the aesthetic determinants which inform practice.
