The programme will:
* explore contemporary education management theory
* critically examine management in terms of institutional leadership, effective policy making, human resource management, and planning for change
* enable students to apply contemporary theory to their own cultures and workplace
* develop knowledge and skills central to effective management and leadership and relevant to both present roles and future careers
On completion of the course you will have an understanding of how to manage an educational institution, an awareness of differences in this management between countries and of the significance of making informed policies and plans.
Who is the course for?
The programme is designed for graduate students and experienced professionals who wish to deepen their understanding of education management and leadership.
It is suitable for experienced teachers and officials from international contexts with current or prospective management responsibilities in schools, and for governors, ministry officials and students of development.
This specialist course will be of interest to you if you work or intend to work in education as a leader, manager, administrator, inspector or researcher.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testA first degree in a relevant subject is required, along with two years' experience in the field of education. Some management experience is also desirable.
If you are not a native speaker of English you will also need to meet the following English Language Requirements;
* IELTS: 6.0 overall, with no grade less than 5.5
* TOEFL paper-based 550 + TWE 4.0
* TOEFL Computer-based 220 with essay 4.0
* TOEFL iBt 83 (Listening 18, Reading 20, Speaking 20, Writing 21)
