This contemporary course covers learning and teaching science, curriculum, assessment, professional development and research issues in both primary and secondary school environments. It also addresses the challenges faced by teachers, teacher-educators and advisors/inspectors during everyday practice in schools.
On completion of the programme you will have an in-depth understanding of the policies, practices and research at the forefront of the discipline, in both domestic and international contexts.

A degree in a relevant subject is required. Experience in science teaching or some other related science education activity is desirable but not essential.
If you are not a native speaker of English you will also need to meet the following English Language Requirements;
* IELTS: 6.0 overall, with no grade less than 5.5
* TOEFL paper-based 550 + TWE 4.0
* TOEFL Computer-based 220 with essay 4.0
* TOEFL iBt 83 (Listening 18, Reading 20, Speaking 20, Writing 21)
