On completion of the programme you will have a deeper understanding of the background, practices and research in both TESOL and ICT, enabling you to extend your professional opportunities to develop the use of ICT in English language teaching.
You will also be able to identify suitable applications for use in this area and will be sufficiently confident to support colleagues in their understanding and use of ICT.
Who is the course for?
The MA in TESOL and ICT is for experienced TESOL or ICT professionals such as teachers, teacher trainers, language school directors, curriculum developers, inspectors, lecturers and materials writers, who wish to develop an understanding of the theories of learning and teaching TESOL and of how to use ICT to facilitate that learning and teaching.
It is not an ICT skills training or programming course and students are expected to have basic competence with ICT before starting the programme.

You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
Take testA Bachelor degree or equivalent professional qualification and two years' relevant experience are required. If you do not have two years' relevant experience you should apply for the MA TESOL Studies.
If you are not a native speaker of English you will also need to meet the following English Language Requirements;
* IELTS 6.5 with no grade below 6.0
* TOEFL paper-based 580 + TWE 4.0
* TOEFL computer-based 240 with essay 4.0
Applicants should normally have; * a good first degree or equivalent professional qualification
* three years' relevant professional experience
* basic ICT skills (internet, e-mail, word processing)
* the ability to use computers routinely in your academic work
* the ability to demonstrate independent facility in the use of ICT with appropriate technical support.
Other educational and professional backgrounds may be considered in exceptional circumstances.
