Who is the MSc is Project Management for?
The MSc in Project Management programme is aimed at graduates with a background in business, economics. engineering, science or computer science who have an interest in developing their project management skills.
What is the programme about? The material and approach in the MSc in Project Management incorporates world-wide best practices from two professional bodies: the United States Project Management Institute (PMI) Body of Knowledge and the UK PRINCE2 sets of standards.
Course objective Our aim is to prepare you for a successful career in project management. We will give you an in-depth education in the basics of managing change, develop your skills and teach you how to apply creative and innovative approaches to problem-solving.
What will I learn? You will develop the practical skills to plan, organise and control business projects and get a solid foundation in the theory and best practise or project management. The programme uses extensive group learning and skills development, so as well as individual reports and examinations you will work within assigned study groups and produce group presentation and case analyses.
How will I benefit? The skills and hands-on experience you get on the programme will enable you to hit the ground running in your project management career. You will learn how to communicate with clients and understand the organisational and human issues involved in managing projects.
Programme Structure
The MSc in Project Management is offered as a one-year full-time programme. You will be assessed by examination and continuous assessment.
