Who is the MSc in Marketing for?
This programme is suitable for business graduates or those already in employment who want to develop their marketing skills. It is also suitable for students with an undergraduate degree in psychlogy, social science or related area.
What will I learn? The MSc in Marketing is focused on developing the marketing knowledge and skills that will enable you to operate at the highest level of management. You will develop an understanding of marketing theory and its application in the business arena. You will acquire conceptual and practical skills needed to compete successfully in the marketplace.
We focus on the development, organisation and management of marketing in business and give you a sound understanding of the theory and management skills essential for a successful career in marketing.

Modules are taught by a combination of experienced academic staff and senior industry practitioners to provide students with the conceptual and managerial perspectives vital to a successful career in marketing.
Programme structure
The programme is offered as a one-year full-time programme or on a two-year part-time basis. You will be assessed by examination and continuous assessment.
To graduate, students must complete seven modules and a Marketing Project (using ideas and applications from these courses). Previous projects have been conducted for client companies such as Unilever, C&C Group, Paddy Power and the National Lottery.
