Location of Warsaw University of Technology

Graduates from the Aerospace Engineering have knowledge allowing for conducting
scientific research and design, optimisation, modernisation as well as maintenance of the
flying vehicles.

Graduates are well-prepared for jobs at aviation engine design offices, research laboratories and maintenance centres as well for dealing with all types of internal combustion engines (automobile, railway and power plant engines), they can also continue their studies at Ph.D. programmes.


Contents

In this programme students are taught the advanced theory and engineering methods.

They study recent achievements in their fields of studies and the methods and tools that prepare them for taking management positions in industry, or undertaking the research activity.

The third semester of the 3-semester programme is devoted to the solution of a research problem.

The problem statement and solution are put into the master diploma thesis. Each diploma
work is reviewed by 2 reviewers and is defended in the presence of commission composed of professors and assistant professors.

Requirements

Candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Application documents:

* M.Sc. candidates - B.Sc. diploma (or any other equivalent diploma)

2. Good knowledge of English (appropriate certification required)

3. High score in subjects of topical fields (only at some Faculties).

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) :

* minimum 500 points, minimum 3,5 points from essay TWE - issued by Educational Testing Service, Princeton, USA;

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) :

* from level First Class Pass at Intermediate Level - issued by Pitman Qualifications Institute;

London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) :

* English for Business Level 2,
* English for Business Level 3,
* English for Business Level 4.

London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Examinations Board (LCCI) :

* Foundation Certificate for Teachers of Business English (FTBE).

TELC (The European Language Certificates) WBT (Weiterbildungs- Testsysteme GmbH) :

* Certificate in English (B1),
* Certificate in English for Business Purposes (B1),
* Certificate in English for the Hotel and Catering Industry (B1),
* Certificate in English Stage 3 (B2),
* Certificate in English for Business Purposes (B2),
* Certificate in English for Technical Purposes (B2).

If you do not hold any of the listed certificates, please contact the International Students Office. Depending on your language skills or other presented certificates, the Faculty might consider your admission.
