This programme is directed at students who want to develop their competence in the field of contemporary Chinese society and politics. The programme builds on international China research, and is taught by experts in the field of Chinese society and politics.As a student, you will engage in in-depth studies and analysis of topics that are crucial for understanding contemporary Chinese society and governance, for instance issues of rural-urban divisions, media, family, education, ethnic relations, party-government relations, and the globalization of China. You will actively take part in the study of relevant theories, and commonly used methodologies in the field of contemporary Chinese society and politics.
