Business studies and culture
International Culture and Management imparts you further-reaching business knowledge in seminars and offers you additional subjects to form your cultural and socio-academic profile. You learn regional and sector-specific specialist knowledge in a core subject of your choice. The Master of Arts programme offers you the additional opportunity to study numerous elective subjects individually and precisely according to your own interests. You can choose between the following six core subjects:
* Tourism Event Hospitality Management
* International Trade
* Media Management
* European Management
* Management Consulting
* Emerging Markets
Current contents of degree courses
You practice academic work intensely in small groups on current topics in seminars on topics pertaining to business, cultural and socio-academic backgrounds. The degree course also incorporates a further foreign language and furthering your personal skills, for example using creative thinking and team and self-management.
High practical relevance
An industrial placement lasting several weeks between the third and fourth semesters is also part of the study programme and you are then given the opportunity to apply the knowledge you have gained in an actual work situation. The CBS Career Service helps you to look for an appropriate company. In the third semester, you have the opportunity to acquire and deepen your knowledge in two further elective subjects. After three semesters, you have a further semester to prepare your Master of Arts thesis. During this period, you can complete a facultative semester abroad or - possibly to prepare your Masters' thesis - work in a company.

You can see here that you attend 20 semester hours per week respectively during the first two semesters, complete an industrial placement with a minimum duration of eight weeks and write your Master of Arts thesis in the fourth semester. In order to gain admission to the Master Program International Culture and Management, you need to prove English language skills.
