Our MPH with a specialisation track in Epidemiology involves the study of factors affecting health and illness among populations through epidemiological methods and research. This track provides a comprehensive overview of the basic science of Public Health, which entails a detailed understanding of epidemiology, and the acquisition of the complex skill-set required to conduct public health research projects. Modules include Epidemiology & Statistics for Public Health Research, Qualitative Methods for Public Health Research, and Regression and Evidence Based Methods for Epidemiology.
The general track in MPH comprises two preparatory modules, four core modules, four elective modules and culminates in a dissertation in a topic relevant to Public Health. The three specialisation tracks in Epidemiology, Management of Health Systems and International Public Health comprise four core modules, three specialisation modules, one elective, and culminates in a dissertation in a topic relevant to your programme of choice.

The first module will be nine weeks in length (two half weeks and seven full weeks). Each subsequent module lasts eight weeks. You take one module at a time in order to study a specific subject in-depth without distractions.
Core modules (all programmes)

The culmination of your programme, this written project demonstrates your mastery and integration of all your previous learning. The dissertation is the cornerstone of the UK university system. It is an original, scholarly work that applies your new knowledge and experience and allows you to prove your mastery of the techniques you have studied.
Students choose their dissertation topic in conjunction with their Personal Dissertation Advisor, an academic supervisor who will provide support throughout the study and writing process. It is expected that the primary focus of your dissertation be relevant to a topic in the field of public health.
The programme takes on average 30 months to complete. However, since students
progress at their own pace, you may choose to complete your studies in as little as 24
months or spread them over 36 months.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.

All UK universities are regulated and monitored by a government body, the QAA. Some of the older, well-established UK Universities have been awarded a Royal Charter. The Royal Charter was granted to the University of Liverpool in 1903; it is a sign of proven academic quality and allows the University to independently award Bachelors, Masters, and to doctorate degrees.
The University of Liverpool is also funded by the Government (Department of Education and Science) via the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE). HEFCE established the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) to oversee the quality of degrees in HEFCE-funded universities.
The US and Canada are happy to accept the standard of degrees awarded by universities in the UK as equivalent to their own corresponding degrees.
The degrees offered via the Internet through Laureate Online Education are fully recognised Master's degree programmes of the University of Liverpool with exactly the same status and standing as other Masters level degrees of the University.
