Als universitaire business school koppelt TiasNimbas voortdurend internationale wetenschap aan uw beroepspraktijk. In het executive master programma IT-auditing maakt u zodoende kennis met de nieuwste wetenschappelijke inzichten in economie, management, finance en technology.
Vervolgens wordt door middel van business cases, (gast-)colleges en scenarioanalyses de vertaalslag gemaakt naar de praktijk. Door project-based learning (huiswerk binnen uw bedrijf) past u tenslotte het geleerde direct toe in uw eigen professionele praktijk.
Uw docenten in dit programma behoren tot de top in het IT-auditingvak. Maar met wie u de komende 2,5 jaar samen leert, discussieert en netwerkt, vindt u toch ook minstens zo belangrijk?
In de collegezaal en uw projectgroepen zult u deelnemers treffen met gemiddeld 7 jaar werkervaring in een veelheid aan functies:

* informatiekundigen

* IT-managers

* Na dit executive master programma kunt u als gecertificeerd IT-auditor werken met, voor en zelfs in directies.
* U kunt zich aanmelden voor het NOREA-register (met na drie jaar tweede titel: RE).

Naast uw IT-kennis en technische IT-auditingvaardigheden versterkt u in dit programma uw vermogen om als gezaghebbend adviseur effectief en succesvol te communiceren met interne en externe opdrachtgevers. Of het nu gaat om veiligheid en betrouwbaarheid of efficientie en effectiviteit van IT-systemen, u kunt raden van bestuur, commissarissen en externe klanten vakkundig van advies en repliek dienen.
U bouwt in dit IT-auditing programma een netwerk op van vakgenoten, autoriteiten en potentiële klanten en werkgevers. Het programma is nadrukkelijk gericht op interactie en netwerkvorming.
Bij succesvolle afronding van het programma ontvangt u EMITA-titel (Executive Master of IT-auditing; EMITA), erkend door de Nederlandse Orde van Register IT-auditors (NOREA). U mag zich inschrijven in het NOREA-register, en na drie jaar IT-auditing ervaring ook nog de titel RE voeren. De TiasNimbas IT-Auditing opleiding is NOREA geaccrediteerd. NOREA is de beroepsorganisatie voor IT-auditors.
De organisatie heeft momenteel 1200 leden en ruim 500 aspirant-leden. Deze leden zijn als universitair opgeleide IT-auditor inzetbaar voor een breed scala van opdrachten. NOREA waakt over de deskundigheid van haar leden en bindt hen tevens aan regels voor de beroepsuitoefening. Voor de Universitair opgeleide IT-auditor heeft NOREA de titel Executive Master of IT-Auditing, EMITA gedeponeerd.

Requirements
Door het hanteren van strenge toelatingseisen voor het Executive Master of IT Auditing Programma zorgen we voor een deelnemersgroep met zeer veel talent én potentie. Dat zorgt voor een extra toegevoegde waarde aan wat u leert tijdens het programma.
Onze Toelatingseisen
* een afgeronde universitaire of hbo opleiding;
* minimaal 3-6 jaar relevante werkervaring op academisch niveau;
* voldoende kennis van ICT en kwaliteitsbeoordeling/auditing;
* een academisch werk- en denkniveau is een vereiste voor de opleiding.

There are many different accreditation agencies and the following highlights the
most important ones for TiasNimbas and its programmes.
The Association of MBAs (AMBA) is an international organisation that has accredited all our MBA programmes, including those offered in partnership with Bradford University School of Management. In addition, Bradford University is accredited by EQUIS.
The IMM (International Executive MBA Programme) is one of our programmes that, through its founding partners and their respective universities, qualifies for the international AACSB accreditation since both Purdue University and Tilburg University are AACSB accredited.In The Netherlands and Belgium, our MSc programme, as well as the Executive Master of Finance and Control (RC) are accredited by the NVAO. (Dutch Flemish Accreditation Organisation).

The TiasNimbas Master in Real Estate programme is RICS accredited. Created in 1868 and with 130 000 members in 120 countries, the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) represents professionals working in property, land and the built environment all around the world.
The International Executive Doctorate (DBA+PhD), offered in partnership with the Cranfield University School of Management, is accredited by the Economic and Social Science Research Council (ESRC). This programme is one of only six in the UK to be recognised.
TiasNimbas is accredited by CEDEO for Accountancy Programmes. A selection of programmes at TiasNimbas is available for achieving the PE (permanent education) requirements for Royal NIVRA (Koninklijk Nederlands Instituut voor Registeraccountants).
