Imagine brainstorming ideas and developing solutions with the brightest and most motivated students from your bachelor programme. Add to that a contingent of high-achieving students from schools all over the world, and you have a good idea of our International MSc in Business Administration programme classroom.
Around 50 percent of all students in our International MSc in Business Administration programme come from abroad, while the other half is internationally-minded Dutch nationals. Most have no professional experience and come straight from their bachelor degree, while a proportion has a couple of years work experience. All have strong academic records, and each has chosen TiasNimbas as the place to kick-start their international business careers.
A high-level of intellectual debate in class combined with teamwork throughout the programme will bring you head-to-head with the contrasting ideas of your classmates – ideas that oppose and challenge you philosophically, morally, and culturally, encouraging the development of a much broader view on business around the world.
Overview
It is intensive, inspiring, action-packed, but always supportive and enjoyable. Our International MSc in Business Administration programme ensures that in just 12 months you acquire the key competencies to succeed in an international business arena. There are four stages to our International MSc in Business Administration programme, as well as an additional preparatory phase. *
For students who need additional knowledge in certain areas, we offer preparatory courses that can bring you up-to-speed before you start the programme.

Stage One
This teaches you the fundamentals of management. During this period, you will study 6 subjects.
Stages Two and Three
Marketing Management Specialisation
During Stage 2, you study four advanced modules.
During Stage 3, you choose two electives from a selection that includes:

Financial Management Specialisation
During Stage 2, you study four advanced modules.

The programme concludes with the Thesis Project. This involves a detailed and original academic report on a specific marketing, finance or business issue. Students are responsible for organising their own research projects.
Thesis projects could be for a specific company or a stand-alone piece of academic research. The thesis project is an opportunity to put to the test new ideas, knowledge and study skills acquired during the programme. It also improves your subsequent employment and career prospects by providing tangible proof of your capabilities.
The purpose and mission of the TiasNimbas Personal Development Portfolio (PDP), unique among its peers, is to help you develop as a person and as a professional during the course of your master degree.

Students are assessed on their knowledge and understanding of each module through an examination and/or written assignment undertaken after the completion of each module. Work completed during teaching sessions, case study analyses and problem solving exercises may also count towards the final module mark.
You are normally required to take an English Proficiency Test if you come from a non-English speaking country.
Most European Universities recognise the IELTS test.
