The goal is to train graduated experts, possessing comprehensive knowledge in natural sciences, crop production technologies, plant protection, plant breeding and of food technology. Our graduated students possess a knowledge required for production of arable plants, primarily for cereals, industrial and oil crops, fodder- and energy crop production. h ey will be qualifi ed for leading organizational and control process of agronomy. h e engineers of crop production, trained at our university are provided with knowledge to meet requirements of constructor developer, researcher and manager sphere of activities. They can have opportunity to continue their studies as PhD students.
Graduates from this program have deep theoretical and practical knowledge, which makes it possible for them to find a job in a wide range of workplaces; for example in the fields of education, research work and public administration. They can work as experts in research, development, quality assurance, production manager, or other directing spheres of activity in the field of crop production, product processing, and trade. Furthermore there are opportunities to find employment within national ministries and public administration dealing with rural and regional development.

Admission criteria:
* Undergraduate degree (B.Sc. or equivalent) in relevant field of science or related area (Degree qualifications are assessed individually in accordance with the diploma, academic transcripts and attachments).
* When the field of degree is not related to the chosen M.Sc. Programme, credits of the relevant courses in the academic transcripts will be acknowledged by the admission office.
* Good command of English.
