The aims of the course are to:
* prepare you as a professional to work as an advanced nurse practitioner
* develop your skills in critical enquiry
* enable you to identify your own learning needs in relation to your expanding role and client group
* provide you with an educational framework to develop your knowledge and skills
* facilitate your personal and professional development
The Learning Process
Students will be encouraged to take personal responsibility for their learning. A variety of learning strategies will guide self-managed study. In order to make the most of the range of experiences within the group, a variety of teaching and learning strategies will be utilised in the classroom setting. These will include seminars, workshops, lectures, discussions, debates, use of case studies and group work appropriate to Masters level study.
