Architectural education at BIArch embraces architectural design as well as territorial analysis and organization, landscape production, energy systems, building technologies, and cultural criticism. The open character of the MBIArch underscores the relevance of combining theory and practice, enabling the exchange of viewpoints and experiences within an interdisciplinary environment, instrumentalizing different areas of architectural knowledge to develop new forms of architectural practices.
BIArch understands architectural design as the constitutive praxis of the discipline and reinforces its relevance to address current modes of architectural production and urban development, to accommodate new social and aesthetic conditions and to respond to emerging environmental concerns.
Covering advanced theoretical research, disciplinary and technical knowledge, as well as other key resources for professional practice, the MBIArch program is aimed at architects interested in exploring the analytical and operative capacities of projects, focusing on conceptual exploration, material conditions, and design production.
· Master’s Program for individuals holding a professional degree in architecture from an accredited college/university or its equivalent.

· Aimed at architects interested in exploring the analytical and operative capacities of the project, placing particular emphasis on both the conceptual roots of the project and the physical and material conditions of the form.
The MBIArch experience encompasses advanced theoretical and design-based research and production, with the objective of attracting and generating architectural intelligence.
The MBIArch program is structured in two distinct phases. The first phase will be analytical and theoretical, establishing a conceptual basis for design production and work through introductory courses and research case studies, as well as critical and design seminars. Following a selective examination period, candidates that complete the first phase satisfactorily will continue on to the second phase of the program, centered on a core Design Studio, design-based research, and operative or technological exploration through projects. Research and project work developed throughout the academic year will be assessed by an international academic jury during the final evaluation sessions.
